useful plant and is easily propagated by seeds, cuttings or suckers.
It is a nitrogen fixing plant.
The seeds of Chinese Indigo are edible when
dried are ground and used for baking. The young leafy shoots have been
used as a traditional medicine for the treatment of various ailments
like cough, poisoning or bleeding.
