Lovely tri-colored  blooms of the hummingbird and butterfly attractant, Cuphea micropetala or Mexican Cigar Plant or Candy Corn Plant

Blooms:  Abundant, beautiful, small, tubular, tri-color, opens as bright yellow and turns orange-red starting from the base as it ages

Uses:  Container, accent, xeriscaping
Comments:  Cuphea micropetala or Mexican Cigar Plant or Candy Corn Plant is an easy to grow perennial.  It is a carefree and low maintenanace plant.  The bees, hummingbirds and butterflies love the Mexican Cigar Plant  I love the candy-clored blooms of Cuphea micropetala which adds colors to my xeriscaping landscape.
