Comments:
Hosta 'Sun Power' or hosta or Sunpower is a large perennial groundcover with a dense, arching, mounding growth habit.  In mid-Summer, long scapes bear pale lavender to white funnel-shaped blossoms.  Hosta 'Sun Power' is easily propaged from seeds or clump divisions.  It perfoms well in morning sun with afternoon shade, in a rich well-draining moist soil medium.  The sun brings out the best color in Hosta 'Sun Power'.  Mass plant this drought tolerant perennial for a glowy effect in the woodland setting or border.  Sunpower can also be container cultivated to add sparkles to the patio or deck. Mulch in Summer to help retain moisture.  Hosta 'Sun Power' takes center stage in a mixed border.
