lovely herbaceous perennial plant with an erect growth habit. Some
species have dark green foliage.
In Summer, creamy
white with greenish spathes appear, giving way to red berries.
Aglaonema
commutatum
does not tolerate cold; it is a medium to fast grower can tolerate
a wide range of light settings. In its condusive environment, it
can reach as tall as 5 feet. When mass planted under tall trees,
Chinese Evergreen make very attractive groundcovers.
Aglaonema loves humidity so it would
enjoy some spray mist in the afternoons.
Ribbon Chinese Evergreen thrives well
in indirect light
or part
shade garden. It is easily propagated by divisions, air layering or stem
cuttings rooted in water. Keep

moist when young and moderately moist when established.

gardener. Pewter Chinese Evergreen can tolerate temperature as low
