Comments: Canna Viriabilis is a compact perennial plant that produces
beautiful long-lasting blooms which mature to become seeds. The
seeds are enclosed in a thin brown partitioned casing. which can be
harvested and plant for the next season. Canna Viriabilis is heat and humidity tolerant.
Dig up the tubers afer a hard frost and keep them indoors in a cool, dark
area. This impressive red canna adds color to my landscpe garden
and is easily propagated by seeds. Canna Viriabilis attracts
hummingbirds.
